About tango

Argentine Tango is a social dance and a musical genre that originated in Argentina and moved to Uruguay and to the rest of the world later on.
Argentine Tango consists of a variety of styles that developed in different regions and eras. . Even though they all developed in Argentina and Uruguay, they were also exposed to influences reimported from Europe and North America. Consequently there is a good deal of confusion and overlap between the styles as they are now danced - and fusions continue to evolve.

Class Details:

New series of classes start first Sunday and Tuesday of every month. Each class follows with 30 minutes of practica.

Sunday, 6:30-7:30 p.m. —Intermediate/Advanced Tango Starting July 4th

Price is $15 per person per class

Sundays 7:30-8:30 Beginner Tango Starting June 4th

 

Tuesday, 7:00-8:00 p.m. —Milonguero Style Tango(close embrace)
